SCHOOL SCREENING PROGRAMMES, 2006-2007

Screening programmes have been produced in the following areas: the visual language strand of English; Science and Music/Art; and strands, perspectives and essential learning about New Zealand society in the Social Studies curriculum. Special screening programmes for teachers are also available. Choose a curriculum area to view the available screening menu in that subject.

Screenings are available at the Film Archive’s mediaplex or, in some cases, as outreach screenings at your school.

WHERE:
The Film Archive mediaplex (maximum group size 90)

WHEN:
Bookings Tuesday to Friday 9.30 am – 4.30 pm during school terms. Screenings usually take 75 - 90 minutes

COST:
$1.50 per student / no charge for accompanying adults

OUTREACH SCREENINGS:
At your school (minimum group size 50) / cost negotiable
